Thought I would update everyone with a note and let you know that Dennis had his 100 day post-transplant appointment today. The Multiple Myeloma protein (cancer) is present, but so minuscule it is not measurable. His doctor puts Dennis in a 90% remission category! We are both very excited and feeling blessed tonight.
Thank you for all of your positive thoughts and prayers.

A Multiple Myeloma Cancer patient's personal journey through his bone marrow transplant. We hope to provide insight and relieve the apprehension of others who are anticipating a stem cell transplant. This journey occurred in 2012. Science in this field has been moving forward quickly, so your experience may be similar but not exactly the same.

SEVEN weeks post-transplant
I am updating this space to let you know that Dennis’ blood count levels are within normal range today, meaning he can resume his normal lifestyle as he builds his strength and feels up to it. The tests for measuring the success level of the transplant won’t be known until March (100 days post transplant), but things are looking good.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support. We are thankful for our friends, our family and this progress. We feel very blessed indeed!
